Super Mario Land Medley
Welcome to the final video in the HIP TANAKA tribute month series!
Super Mario Land was the first game I ever bought (except for Tetris that came bundled with the Game Boy). Being a young kid, hanging out at my grandparents' house many years ago, I was waiting impatiently for the game to arrive in the mail. All of a sudden a car honked outside, and my grandma went out to check. It was the postman apparently and as she walked back though the door into the kitchen she handed me a package. "Huh, what's this?". I didn't understand why I got a package while being at their house, but I quickly opened it up, and sure enough there it was: Super Mario Land. I couldn't believe my eyes. How? Luckily, I had brought my Game Boy with me, I always did. I quickly started playing and the rest is history. 77 years later, and here I am, still playing the same game. I don't know if it's sad or commendable. Maybe both.
Also, one thing that's good about cloning yourself is that you can play two parts at the same time, the bad thing is that the guy on the left didn't really learn his parts. *sighs*

Nice remix. 😎 I hope new Megaman games of some sort gets made this year or next year. Megaman 11 was a good game, but it definetly doesn't compare to X4, Command missions, Battlenetwork etc. Even then that was bck in 2017, and its now 2024. And I hope we don't have to see 4 cancelled megaman titles in a row, ever again.
